Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is proud to present this amazing
1965 Shelby Cobra in a stunning black with gold racing stripes
wrap. CSX4872 was built with a custom hand-built aluminum body by
Panel Craft in New Hampshire. The inspiration for this car was the
original CSX3010 race car. This car has tons of custom features
including custom racing windshield, hood scoop, roll bar and bumper
delete for a sleek look. The car has Kirkey race seats which adds
to the race look of the car.
Since this is a real CSX car it has the original round tube chassis
and steel suspension that all 3000 series cars had.
A custom aluminum fuel tank was built for the car so no worries
about leaking bladders. The car also has custom built kidney bean
wheels and new Avon tires.
Power comes from a 428 Police Interceptor motor which is backed by
a TKO 600 Transmission. The engine bay on this car is clean enough
to eat off of, as well as the underside. A quality of build that is
as high quality as this car does not come around often, and is
always amazing to see in person.
The body is brushed aluminum covered by a vinyl wrap. The wrap
could be easily removed if desired.
There is over $300,000 invested into the car with most of the work
being completed by Cobra.
